  • $50 USD per hour

    Just a few topics writers chat about:

  • Pricing is $.016 per word (4,000 word minimum.) 

    Includes:

    • Full, thorough read through

    • For larger projects, 1-5 page report to include: big picture issues (plot, voice, POV, character, language) that should be addressed in revision 

  • Pricing is $0.02 per word

    Developmental edits include: 

    • A read of your partial or full manuscript

    • Inline comments and a comprehensive editorial letter

    • Suggestions can cover multiple subjects from use of language to voice, plot, and character

    • One (1) 45-minute call to discuss additional questions/issues once you’ve had time to review the editorial letter and inline notes

  • We will help you tighten and strengthen your query.

    • One pass: $60 

    • Three passes with brainstorming session (30-minute Zoom/phone call): $175

    • I review your first 25 pages, plus give 3 rounds of revisions on your query: $400.

    • Important Note: I review your pitch package and consider if it is query ready. If not, we will discuss alternatives to improving your work. This may include suggesting additional beta readers, a full manuscript critique, or a revision plan.

  • $0.15 per word ($45 for a 300-word synopsis, etc.)

    • Most writers dread creating a synopsis but some agents and editors require them. In the long run, they are extremely helpful in seeing the big picture.

    • I help you make certain it contains all the right plot points, character information, and needed details.

Important Note for all Extras:

I only work in Microsoft Word since it is easiest to maintain the standard manuscript formatting. I do not make exceptions. All project work must be submitted according to the formatting guidelines below, which averages to about 250-300 words per page and requires the following specifications:

  • Letter-sized paper 

  • Times New Roman font

  • 12-point font size 

  • Double-spaced text

  • One-inch margins
